Youth Ministry

"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."

Mark 12:29-31

Why AXIS? An axis is “the center around which something rotates”. What we teach and experience together on Sunday mornings is the anchor and center for everything else we do as a community.

252: Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm our middle school students gather for an incredible time. We meet in the Youth Center (lowest level of First Pres). This is a great time for students to burn some energy, have fun, meet and make friends, explore the Scripture, share about life and pray for one another in small groups (gender specific), and learn more about who Jesus is and what he invites us in to. Fall session begins August 26 and ends December 16.

Pizza Nights. The last Wednesday of each month is our all-you-can-eat pizza night. The cost is only $3. So bring your friends and your friends’ friends and enjoy a fantastic time of laughter, games and food!

AXIS: Sunday Mornings at 9:45. All middle school and high school students gather in the Youth Center (lowest level of First Pres) for food, teaching and conversation.

Why 252? Luke 2:52 reads, "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." It is our hope and prayer that everything we do will help students to grow in this way.

High School
Grades 9 through 12. Click here for details.

1321: Sundays from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Youth Center (lowest level of First Pres). Our high school students gather for food, connection, worship and to engage in conversation about relevant and important issues of our Faith and the person and work of Jesus in our lives. Fall session begins on August 30 and ends on December 13.

AXIS: Sunday Mornings at 9:45. All middle school and high school students gather in the Youth Center (lowest level of First Pres) for food, teaching and conversation.

Why 1321? Hebrews 13:20-21 reads,"May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." It is our hope and prayer that our community will experience our Father’s kingdom and that our lives would make the name of Jesus famous ~ bringing glory to God.
